Michelle Martinez is a Patient Support Coordinator at Immanence Health. She has been working with Dr. Schaffner since February 2020 and is proud to be part of a team that works together to improve our patients' lives. She is very passionate about helping others and feels that there is nothing more fulfilling than knowing she is helping make a difference in someone’s life.

With over 10 years of experience in patient care, Michelle obtained her AAS degree in Medical Assisting, as well as her AA degree in the Bay Area of California, where she is from. While in school, she was awarded the Latino Achievement Award, Director’s Award, and the President’s Award. Michelle was born with a smile and was taught early on by her family about the value of compassionate care. She lost her father to a brain aneurysm when she was 11 years old, and from that moment she always pictured herself working in healthcare.

Outside of the clinic, she devotes her time to her family. When she is not with her family, Michelle enjoys listening to music and creating art. She has a background in painting and drawing, and recently found a love for working with resin.
